In January 2023, JAMA Network Open published a paper that said Covid was "a leading cause of death" in children and young people in the US. Time to look at the latest data.
Excellent work as always. It's a shame you even have to expend your time stuck in "Brandolini's Law" disputing this utter nonsense.
The claim that Covid is a threat to children is extraordinary. Before making such a wild claim, they should have to answer why there are zero excess deaths in children (0-14) in the entire world.** Regardless of whether a country vaccinated, closed schools, wore masks, the number of pediatric deaths in 2020-2022 was the same as 2017-2019. How could something so dangerous not increase the total number deaths?
**Except Canada. They had a 27% increase in 0-14 deaths in 2021 and 2022. No idea why.
